About Dr. David C. Brewer, Optometrist

Dr. David C. Brewer has been serving patients in Yukon, Oklahoma City and throughout the Canadian County area since 1979. His expertise and care attract patients from all over the state of Oklahoma. Although improving your vision is very important to our office, it is also equally important that you feel comfortable and secure with any option or treatment you choose. We strive to gain your confidence and trust, to ensure that you leave us 100 percent satisfied. We want you to enjoy the time spent in our office and have great options whether you need glasses, contact lenses or an eye examination.

As Chairman for the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicans Centennial Committee in 2007, Dr. Brewer and his wife, Kathy, took the history of the first 100 years of Oklahoma Optometry and complied it into a book. The book, “The First Century” began with depicting life as an Oklahoma optometrist at the beginning of the 1900’s and continued detailing the changes and improvements in optometry over the next 100 years.

Dr. Brewer is very knowledgeable about optometric history and collects vintage equipment. He owns a complete 1911 optometry chair and stand and the items used to do eye examinations at the beginning of the 20th century. Thankfully, we have much better equipment to use today!

So, whether you want a spectacular new look with one of our designer frames, or latest innovations in contact lens technology, Dr. Brewer and our friendly staff will ensure an in-depth personalized visit guaranteed to fit whatever need you have.
